8.                 Demonstration Units with Host Institute :

As the KVK is located in the premises of College of Agriculture, Dhule, the  demonstration Units of the Host Institute are being utilized for training & demonstration purpose. They are as under :

i)          Horticultural Nursery Unit

ii)        Dairy Unit

iii)    Trichogramma production Laboratory

               iv)    Trichoderma  Production Laboratory

                         v)    Soil & water analysis Laboratory

9.  Vehicle : KVK has one Tempo Trax Jeep for the organization of different 

                     Extension Activities in the operational area.

10. Information Cell :

     Library: Library includes Books, Journals, Periodicals & News Letters as

                   reference matter for the SMS and the farmers as well.

     Publications :  KVK has developed literature for general distribution for the 

                    farmers in local language i.e. in Marathi.

     MPKV Publications :   Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri has 

                    developed a Farmers Diary Viz., Krishidarshani in Marathi, which is 

                    updated every year. It consist of all the information about

                    Agricultural New Technologies recommended by MPKV. Ample

                    copies of this diary are also available in KVK for sale. Another most

                    popular publication, Sugi is also available in KVK.

11. Communication :

 

   KVK has various communication facilities to facilitate the programme of 

 

    dissemination of Agricultural Technologies and improve upon the farmers 

 

    access to its advisory & various other services.
